Every Dutch health insurer has its own dental modules, prices and conditions. On this page you find the 2026 dental insurance of each insurer: premium per month for adults, maximum reimbursement per year, reimbursement percentage, acceptance and how much the insurer does in English. With almost every insurer you can only take out dental insurance together with its own basic insurance.

Anderzorg is the online brand of Menzis and requires an Anderzorg basic policy. Dental care is reimbursed at 75% up to €250 a year.

Frequently asked questions
What does CZ dental insurance cost?
In 2026 CZ Tandarts costs €27.00 a month and reimburses up to €450 a year (check-ups 100%, other treatments 75%), without a dentist’s statement. Uitgebreide Tandarts costs €48.40 for up to €1,150 and requires a dentist’s statement. You take it out together with CZ basic insurance.
What does FBTO dental insurance cost?
FBTO Tand €250 costs €16.75 (18–26) or €16.95 (27+) a month in 2026 and reimburses 100% up to €250. Tand €500 and Tand €750 cost from €32.25 and €51.25. FBTO asks no medical questions.
Which insurer has the cheapest dental insurance?
The lowest premiums in 2026 are for small modules such as UnitedConsumers TandBasis (€8.50, up to €100) and FBTO Tand Basis (€7.20, 75% for check-ups and fillings). For €250 cover for all treatments you pay from about €10 (UnitedConsumers TandExtra, 75%).
Which insurers accept everyone for dental insurance?
FBTO, OHRA, CZdirect, DSW, Salland and Zorg en Zekerheid accept everyone. VGZ and Univé also have no dental selection, even for their €1,000 modules, but apply a 12-month waiting period for crowns, bridges and implants.
